$INGT
$INGT is the protocol token of Ingot Finance. It launches on the Pons launchpad with a fixed supply and locked liquidity, and every figure on this page is read from the token contract, its pool and the Pons locker — never from a local copy this repository could edit.
What $INGT is, and what it is not
Two different instruments carry the Ingot name. Confusing them is the most expensive mistake available on this page, so both are spelled out.
The protocol's token
$INGT carries the Ingot Finance name. It is the asset the project rallies around and the one a supporter can hold to be exposed to the protocol as a project rather than to any single vault.
A coordination instrument
Fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 units, minted once at launch and never again, paired against WETH in a pool held by the Pons locker. Pons locks launch liquidity by design; the launch-facts row above states whether the locker confirms it for this token, and until it does this page does not assert it.
A trading-fee stream
70% of the trading fees the locked pool earns route to the creator fee wallet and 30% to Pons. That is real protocol revenue only when the fee wallet is the Ingot treasury — the trading-fee panel on this page reports whether it actually is, read from the chain, once the token is launched.
Not a claim on vault assets
Holding $INGT gives you no ownership of anything in the Custody Vault. The tokenized equities held there back the vault shares, and only the vault shares.
Not redeemable at NAV
There is no mint or redeem path for $INGT. Its price is whatever the pool trades at — it is not arbitrage-pegged to any net asset value, and the Peg Keeper does not touch it.
No on-chain utility in V1
It does not vote, does not gate anything, does not earn dividends and does not reduce fees. If a future version gives it a role, that role will be shipped and documented before it is claimed here.
A vault share — iMAG7, iINCOME, iAI — is minted when you deposit USDG and burned when you redeem, at net asset value, against real tokenized equities held in custody. That is a claim. $INGT is a fixed-supply launchpad token with no mint, no redemption and no custody behind it. That is not a claim. Buying one when you meant the other buys something entirely different.
